Show us your keys and we should be able to tell?

Keys are with the car and I'm not with it at present but will grab photos once back.

Been quoted £45 for a programmed replacement which doesn't seem too bad? thats with a local independent key cutters.

Where Duncan mentioned at Pitsea will be a lot cheaper.

I got 2 keys, cut from one broken one and chipped for £75 at Timpsons.

the downside was that the key part isn't long enough to open the boot via the key

Or, you have a broken bit of the Key in the lock

It’s a ‘crossover car’ so it’s Temic System & chipped.
(When I first saw the car, I thought of Becci’s old car )

As for the scuttle panel, I’m painting one, see how it turns out ….

One of mine is painted but it’s not good. Maybe with the proper primer and paint it might be more successful

My old orange one was fine by a professional, lasted years to be fair…..

I got mine resprayed professionally and its been OK for six years but I have also seen people regenerating ABS with heat from a heat gun. Worth a try if youve got a spare. It gives instant results but I guess the risk is overdoing it.
