Hi Folks

Re N Reg 1995 24v 133k crossover

Just changed the gearbox oil & wanted to check what I used is ok.... My mechanic said it is what is recommended on his database.

Triple QX (Apparently made by Shell)
Semi synthetic
EP 75w90
Meets the requirements of:
API GL-5
MIL-L-2105D
MAN 342 M-2
ZF TE-ML 05A
7A
12E
16B-D
17B
19B
Suitable for use in manual gearboxes and hypoid rear axles. Can be used in all applications where EP (extreme pressure) gear oils are recommended

Any thoughts appreciated :-) Will drop it out asap and put something else in if no good. Hopefully not!

PS: other work completed today -
Oil /filter change 5w30 synthetic
Coolant change
Cam belt / tensioner / pullys etc
Aux belt
Water pump
Power steering belt
Front rocker gasket

New boot struts came from Rock Autos the other week too :-) Next job = rusty sunroof then all needs a good polish
