The original distributors had little tags stuck to the body of the distributor but yours ..................
What is the firing order on your distributor cap , just the numbers , anti- clockwise will do ?
4, 5, 3
6, 1, 2

Cant find that tag so I've gone with the one Adam recommended, appears to be same location of the numbers.

I'm just ready for this thing to bloody start now...

With that firing order you DO NOT have an early '94 Probe.
Therefore NOT a 071 or 072 distributor.

Looking at the photos you took you 100% have an early dissy.

I've sent you a Pm 😎 and I repeat you 100% have and early dissy as the Earlys have two 90 Degre plugs as per you Photo.
Late cars have one 90 Deg plug and the other plugs into the body of the Dissy.
I know this A) from years of experience and B) I own an early and my Wife owns a late and I do the work on both !!

As Jon Said, hopefully the dissy i gave you will work,Now link the immobiliser out completely
IE take out and give it a dropkick over the neighbours fence  just link the connectors out
in the plugs as your still running the links through it as you plugged it back in ;)
