Airbag warning light saga

Post by Vee[taylor-walker] » Mon Nov 08, 2021 5:37 pm

Having taken my Probe to yet another modern classic garage, he checked the diagnostics and said everything is working, obviously it just wasn't re-setting. So he phoned the department of MOT's and they told him that as the car was born in 1995 the warning light would not be a fail on the MOT, also if the garage failed it to tell them to phone them and they would verify that it would only fail if the engine management light was flashing. What say you?

No engine management light on the Probe. Only solution for the airbag warning light , if it can't pass the mot, is a fresh blue airbag module (unicorn poo)

Flashing engine management light, indicates fault with the alternator

Again, another story of garages knowing nothing about our cars

It’s all in the Oracle, available to full members
