Ford Probe 1994 2.0 16 v
When you bypass the immobiliser by connecting the three pairs of terminals together do you just tape up the plug and leave it loose.
If you are only connecting these three terminals what do the others do.
Thanks

If you have only cut the 6 relevant wires, you then put the plug back in to the immobiliser and put it back where it was.

That's brave , just one tiny mistake could create mayhem.

When you say terminals, do you mean in the plug? If you do, how secure would they be over a period of time?
If you take that option, then I guess you don't need the unit and you may have to secure the cable to stop any movement?

You could solder the ‘jumper’ wire in place
I normally remove the old unit completely from the car
