Water Leak

Post by Maria McG » Thu Apr 01, 2021 12:40 pm

Hi all, I have a '97 2.5lt Probe that has been off the road for some time. I've owned it since 2003 but it was parked up when my little people came along as it wasn't the easiest to get them in and out of it. I'm trying hard to get it back on the road.
There is a metal water pipe that runs along in the V of the engine and it has corroded. Any ideas where I might be able to get a replacement?
Thanks in advance.
Maria.

I probably do, but I haven't worked out how to get it off the engine yet?

I just realised when I see your picture Kit that it's the thicker of the 2 pipes that I need. It has a rubber o ring on one end and 2 bolt holes on the other side.
Is it impossible to get stuff like this new now?
Thanks,
Maria.

Try Mazda, after all it is a all Mazda engine.

You should be able to source new ‘O’ rings

I have now removed it from the breaker, but I'm not sure if Kit is offering his to you?

That's great Micron.
Can you post it?
How do we go about arranging payment?
