Was driving home from work yesterday & these lights came on
Obviously left one is abs (the pump?) but the right one puzzles me does it mean my airbag is about to fail? Stumped!

Hi, owners manual says air bag has a shelf life of 15 years. Maybe a replacement needed? Hopefully nothing to worry about if the car starts, stops and goes again, both ABS and Airbag lights lit the manual says to contact ford dealer or because of my limited knowledge a friendly neighbourhood mechanic.

Clear the codes in the normal way, & see if they come back.
If there do, read the flashes to find the code/fault

Strange one's coming on together, but agree with Duncan see if clearing the codes put the lights out

Started her up this morning headed for work, lights back!
Have a few code readers but none to hand

Would something like this work, with an obd2 scanner?

I've been asking exactly the same question. I'll be interested to hear the answer, but this lead looks like it will fit my diagnostic box and there are plenty of OBD2 scanners available, so for £30 ish I will take a punt and see what happens! Got to be better than paperclips, diodes and multi-meters if it works. First job when I get the setup will be to break the CPS connector and see if I get an 02 CPS fault!
