I just got a set off amazon. If I had one dodgy mount I'd want to change them all.

I would have thought the top mount was ok, suspect its the spring mount under the top mount
that's the problem,if they didn't mention welding
or if it needs welding they mean top plates that I used to put on Mk1/Mk2 Escorts

You'd think Shakin Stevens was driving the Flying Machine till I got the mounts changed! The gearbox mount was the worst offender and the most difficult to change. Its lovely now!

Thanks for everyone’s input. Job done as mounts were sourced from supplier. Probe passed MOT. Interestingly my garage of choice will shut next week for the foreseeable future due to the MOT extension, and that will deter people from taking their cars in for MOTs. Also suppliers to garage are closing one by one.
