V6 head removal bolt socket???

on a V6, after the cam covers and the cams are out,
head is secured with 8 bolts but what sort of socket do i need???

bolt seems to be a male spline type???

if anyone knows what i need to be looking or asking for,

at my local Car parts and accessories shop...

What what you have described it sounds like a Torqox or however you spell it?

Just looked under the cams of the scrap engine in the garden (one day I'll get round to finding out why it seized)

Normal multi sided socket should do it, just be a tight fit to get maximum contact area on the bolt.

Torqox are more star shape, & point-ee.

(You use male 10mm Torqox it for 16V head bolts)
