It’s your bonnet , under the hood light

Pop a bulb in it, it’s on a tilt switch, & should come on when the bonnet open.

Often, the switch sticks on, & drains the battery, that why, most people haven’t got a bulb in place.

This feature, is only found on early cars

Follow the cables, down the bonnet, there’s a connector in the engine bay.
So remove it if you like

Nice one , cheers Duncan. Isn't present on the carbon fibre bonnet that I'm swapping over so just wanted to be sure. So the only thing other than bolts is the washer fluid line ?

Duncan is right on early cars only, and if you one remove the bulb, could drain the battery :D

The “washer line”, has a push fit jointer, on the line.

So, just pull it apart :!:
