Hey guys... I drove to work this morning fine. Just went to move it to a parking space and it won't start. Car turns over when I turn the key but engine won't start.

Help as it stuck at work in an unsafe location. Thank you in advance for your help 😎

I'm not a techy, but try the CPS plug near the dip stick.

As said about the CPS, or worse case is your Dizzy has failed

Can't remember if your car is early or late
If late then separate cps, blow & reattach
If early it's probably your dissy has failed
Assume you've checked the fuel cut off
Make sure you have fuel to the rail too

Hope any of that helps ;)

How easy is it to replace the distributor?

It's a late and will go check the plug when I have a moment.

If it is the Dissy then it's quite straight Forward to replace assuming it's a 24V

1) Note roughly where the bolts sit in the slots so that you can put the replacement one back in the same position.
2) If your on a Standard Air Intake then remove it. If your on a Cold Air and have the room then no need to remove.
3) Remove the Cap leaving the Plug Leads in Place
4) Note which direction the Rotor Arm is pointing so that you can refit to the New Dissy in the same place.
5) Remove the 2 bolts from the Dissy and the Electrical Plugs
6) Pull the Dissy from the Engine
7) Fit new Dissy to Engine, this will only fit one way as the Drive Key is off set, so put it in part way and then turn the Centre shaft until the whole
thing pushes into place
8) Refit Bolts and Electrical Plugs
9) Turn dissy body so that bolts are roughly in the same position in the slots as remembered from Step 1
10) Tighten up bolts
11) Swap Rotor Arm from old Dissy to new fitting in the position you noted in Step 4
12) Refit Dissy Cap
13) Refit Air box (If removed)
14) Cross fingers and try starting up.

Hope this helps 8-)
