Rear through-bolts

Post by MikeyG » Thu Aug 01, 2019 6:02 pm

Hey guys,

How am I meant to get the through bolt out on the rear hub? I've got the nut off, but the bolt is solid and not moving. I've hit it for half an hour with a hammer and it's not even budged.

Thanks in advance as always.

Loads of WD40 and an impact gun on the bolt to spin it
or leave for a day for the WD40 to work few Hell Marys
and it will pop out ;) I Take it you have taken the load off
the shock

Makes sense... The shock is still attached, I didn't think that would make a difference.

Thanks.

And when, eventually , you have got them out , remember to pack the exposed centre section with God's anti-corrosion gift, DENSO Tape.
'Cos otherwise, it will get like that, all over again.
