As if anytime is a good time , but the evening before a car show. Apologies for not going to be able to attend Beaumanor tomorrow Kaz and Jon. Car failed big time on the way back from Sleaford today, speedo and rev counter bouncing all over , lights failed , raining like mad and wipers went on snails pace , some things only worked when I shut other things down. Last mile or so indicators failed , then all shut down and I was stranded. All in the pouring rain of course šŸ™„. I replaced the battery with a known good one and got moving but the right hand side yellow/orange light is on unless I rev it. Amp meter hardly moves. Alternator failed ? I'll Facebook a photo of the dash , hopefully someone can clarify please. Kaz let me know PayPal and I'll square up the entrance cost . I've an alternator I got from an xedos last year but is it much of a job to swap over ?

I did the alternator on my MX6 and it was a radiator out job to give access - other than the extra work that entails it was pretty straightforward.

Like Justin says, its a easy fix,, radiator out, But I did mine from below without managing to remove the radiator, Just remember to undo the locking nut on the belt system,
whole job should take less than 1 hour :D

Summer holidays, so basically I’m free once I get back from holiday (this Wednesday). I have to work 14/15 and 21/22 August for results days but we should be able to find a time before then that works. Let me know what works for you.

Brilliant, many thanks Justin. Is this Thursday or Friday afternoon or over the weekend any good for you ? I've ordered a new belt that should arrive by Thursday. Cheers.

Any of those times will work but on the afternoons I will be limited by needing to pick by daughter up from Branson - I need to check the exact times with her which I will be able to do when I get back.
