Seat belt anchor

The seat belt anchor (driver's) is starting to fail on my 1997 Probe. It won't click on to engage without several tries. Is this a universal part common to many Ford models or bespoke for the Probe? Is it easy to fit? Also does engaging the buckle into the slot operate a dashboard light?
