Gas struts for boot lid

The struts which raise the boot lid and hold it up on my Ford Probe 24v 1997 have failed. I have found several replacements on the internet. is it one size fits all or do different models have different ones?

Have some here £41 posted have you a spoiled fitted? As will need up rated ones if you have
