By the speaker behind the rear quarter panel, of the rear seats, passenger side, for UK cars.

NOT as the Hayes 'book of lies'

While taking the rear trim off it dawned on me to multimeter test the abs sensor connectors. low and behold 1 rear is broken. Yet to get to the front pair and test but does anyone have ABS sensors for sale or can point me in the direction of any? Desperately in need as I can’t see any online.

Prior in this feed Andy kindly suggested a pair but unfortunately they don’t fit.

Why do the one’s that Andy has not fit if they came from a 97 Probe?
Can you post pictures of your current ones, including connectors

The barrel of the sensor is slightly narrower than the ones on mine and would end up touching the ABS ring.
They look almost exactly like front sensors, however connectors are the same as the rear. I’ll add a photo but forgive that the ones removed from mine got mashed up.

Hard to explain but on mine the tip end of the sensor has a triangular shape to it whereas these were more rectangle.
Not sure which Mazda ones to buy on eBay, they look to be listed as rears but the images look like fronts with a rectangle profile. If someone can confirm a listing that fits I’m happy to buy and splice.

Have you actually tried Andy's ones on the car to see if they do touch the abs wheel?

After playing around with multiple sensors I’ve finally got one together, fitted and working as it should. Big shout out thanks to Andy for supplying the bits

My dash is now light free, first MOT tomorrow so hopefully will be joining you all on the road

Thanks again for all the input
