Can anyone help me figure out what's going on here.
I'm trying to refit a standard radio to my probe I've got my hands on an 2007rds.
I've pulled the aftermarket unit out and it had a patch lead to what I thought is the standard harness. But the speaker lead doesn't look genuine and there's no port in my radio for it.
I've followed it down to this connector block that looks factory but I don't think it is either.
I thought the standard speaker cable is similar to the grey but black.
TIA

Looking at previous posts I found on here this post mentions a patch lead to bypass the factory option amp when fitting after market stereo, that I'm thinking is what mine must have hence why I have this strange plug. Can anyone confirm if this is correct and if so, what factory radio should mine have to work with this original amp?

Adam,
As per my Facebook response, you need to put up a wanted ad for the Speaker patch cable

I just completely bypassed the useless factory amp, by running 4 twin wires direct from the head unit to the 4 coming out of the factory amp, then isolated the amp

I believe that he needs the female connector, rather than the male one. It's the cable between the radio and the lead in your picture. The required lead is for the speakers, so should have the green, grey, purple & white coloured wires
