Fuel Filler Neck different size?

Hey all,

I've replaced the Fuel Filler Neck with what I thought was an original GE, but it seems its about 7cm shorter than the previous one. Does anyone know if the Mazda/Ford filler necks were different sizes?

I've replaced all the other hoses no problems, but the fuel hose between the filler neck and the tank is proving tricky - I've been to a few hose shops and they say its different sizes on each end and moulded, meaning its a nightmare to do anything with.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
