Re: Soaked head lining….help!
UPDATE; having temporarily sealed up the sunroof yesterday and getting the car bone dry, I’ve gone in to check today and it’s wet again! It’s the left hand side at the front that’s sodden. I’ve partially pulled down the headlining and can see that all the sunroof drain pipes are connected as they sh...

Re: Soaked head lining….help!
Thank both, great source of advice yet again. It’s sealed up with tape for now and there’s a heater and humongous dehumidifier sat in it drying it out for a few hours!
A job to add to the list!

Re: Soaked head lining….help!
Thanks for the tips….I’m guessing I’ll need to lift the panel out to push through the drain tubing? I also think the sunroof seal is a problem, though the poor way it sits rather than the seal itself. The front is raised, the rear dropped. If this is the case, what’s the best way to remedy this? A n...

Soaked head lining….help!
Hi all, not used the probe in over a week but moved it today and discovered that the headlining of the car is soaked! Mainly left side front and rear. Not had this problem before so I’m thinking it may be related to the sunroof post paint job….maybe dust has clogged the drain holes? The sunroof does...

Re: Stop/tail bulbs
That’s what I’m thinking, they require far less power too usually

Re: Stop/tail bulbs
Yes, they look identical in terms of the filament, bayonet size and the offset of the pins etc. the only difference is the shape of the contacts at the base of the bulbs, I’d assume as long as there’s contact there shouldn’t be any issues?

Stop/tail bulbs
Had 1 of the 2 tail bulbs failed on drivers side so purchased twin pack of 21/5w (380) bulb by Osram. Fitted the pair but extremely dim compared to what came out. Tried a working one from the original pair and that was fine. The new bulbs work fine when I tried in another car. Have I got the correct...

Re: Water ingress
Thanks for response. What do you mean by 'power the head lining?' And yes I think they'll need to be checked to be absolutely sure.

Re: Water ingress
Yes has a sunroof and as I couldn't find the drain pipes I duct tape sealed the sunroof (its having a replacement panel whilst in for paint) so no water could get into the sunroof area which I think rules that out....
