Re: Handbrake Issue
OK, had the chance to check out. Couldn't see anything obviously broken , so took Duncans advise on adjusting the 10mm nut at the lever. It was about 5/10mm from the top , found a deep 10mm and wound it down until its now firm on 3 clicks. It's now wound down to about 20mm. Many thanks for the step ...

Re: Handbrake Issue
Cheers for all the advise, I'll look at it over the weekend and see what's what.

Handbrake Issue
My handbrake pulls all the way up all way now as in, no more clicks left, and on a steep hill it won't hold the car. Am I right in thinking that there's a simple adjustment at the handbrake itself, inside the car?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

Re: Bonnet prop clip
It's the base of the stay that should fit securely (not come apart) as you're looking at the front of the car, left hand side . So wherby at the moment , the stay comes away in your hand .

Re: Bonnet prop clip
Mines broken too, so I'd be interested in a club venture to supply these .

Re: rear caliper carrier mounting / ignition issue ?
The cutting out, as Duncan says, probably dizzy, but check your coolant level as this can affect low idle/cutting out at a stop.

Re: Coventry breaker
Not that it helps , but a rare part now . After all my years of Probe ownership , I've only 1 spare. As Dunc says, possibly go down the repair route.
