Ford Probe battery/alternator problems
Hi Can someone tell me if the Ford Probe 24V 1996 alternator has a built in rectifier and a regulator? Had a new battery fitted recently but the battery is low going by the battery gauge in the car. Had the battery tested but it’s low voltage. Seems like I have been running off the battery. So think...

Thanks for everyone’s input. Job done as mounts were sourced from supplier. Probe passed MOT. Interestingly my garage of choice will shut next week for the foreseeable future due to the MOT extension, and that will deter people from taking their cars in for MOTs. Also suppliers to garage are closing...

All I know is that the garage is trying to source replacements and nothing was said about any welding etc.

Probe failed it’s mot today. Both suspension mounts corroded. Anyone know where there can be obtained?

Clunking noise
Had a clunking noise coming from drivers side on Probe 24V. Had the driveshaft replaced but it’s still doing it. Any ideas?
