Re: Randomly locking

Has the car got wet recently, because what can happen is water gets in to the switches on the door locks and normally causes them to unlock, but I guess the opposite could also apply.
Also do you have aftermarket remote locking or alarm fitted to the car as they could be your problem

Take off the adjustment that the handbrake, jack up the car and adjust it there to take up the slack, then final adjustment at the handbrake

Re: Cruise

I had to change mine, as I had the same problem, the tricky bit is the cable to the throttle body It works fine now. Any tips on how to attach cable to throttle body ? Not without looking at it, but it wasn’t that hard, just disconnect it from the module, and put the casing ( I believe) with the ca...

Re: Cruise control module fitting

There are about 3 nuts that need to come off, plus the plug on the front, I found that the easiest option for the cable was to remove it from the module end and take the cable and fitting on to the new one.

It shouldn’t take that long.

Re: Cruise

You have to be doing at least 30mph, then you switch it on with the LH switch ( no indications) then you set the speed with the RH switch ( still no indications) I would hold the set button for a bit, if it engages you might find it drops before it picks up again. The RSM is resume after braking, ca...

Thank you, perhaps if it might be best to tackle it by just taking the seats out then 😀
Depends on how wet it's going to get  . the main pain is you have to loosen or remove the seat belt anchors and some of the trim.
