Hey Bob. If the CPS Plug is good then I agree it's probably the Dissy. Kaz had it one time on a 96. Left home running spot on and went to a local shop 1/2 mile away. Came out of the shop and it was dead wouldn't start at all. I took a spare Dissy out to her changed it in the Car Park, Car Fired up a...

Re: Remote locking - missing wire (!)
Solution is when the Ford Alarm is dis-armed open the bonnet and disconnect the bonnet switch.
Car thinks the bonnet is always up and the Ford Alarm never sets again.
If you want an Alarm then you can have this as part of the Kit you buy for the Remote Locking.

Re: Engine fault codes procedure
I have old Analoge Meter that I use for exactly this Job. Just set it to 12 VDC Range on the same Pins as you'd put the LED on, put the Link in and away you go. You just count the Sweeps instead of the LED Flashes to determine the Code. No advantage with either if you ask me, I just use the Meter as...

Re: Oil pressure & tapping
94 M Reg should be a proper Gauge i.e. It rises and falls with the Revs. When cold it should be about 3/4 up and when warm on Tickover about 1/2 way. Please remember that this is Hall Effect Sensor that converts the Pressure into a Signal. Could be that the Sensor is reading Low as it could be 26 Ye...

I usually remove the Drivers Side Sill Cover, lift the edge of the Carpet and find it under the 1st Plastic Wiring Cover.

Re: Blocked brake pipe
I disconnected what I thought was the blocked pipe and I blew it through with compressed air. I connected it again at the front but still couldn't get any fluid through it. What I did notice was that I have a firm pedal even though that pipe isn't connected to the caliper. So it looks like I will n...
