Re: Vinyl wrap

Sounds like you've come up with a great scheme for devaluing your car. However, it is your car!

But personally I'd pass your ad by, if I was looking. They are 23 to 26 years old now and leaving the 'boy racer' phase for the collectable classic phase. It's very much your decision...!

Re: Defeated

Never tried these, they seem very thin so I would be wary of them breaking. Not sure if they are more intended for cutting sheet metal based on the description. This type of disc will cut through any suitable material of any thickness, just don't twist the grinder whilst in the cut. They are made w...

Re: Defeated

Can you get a nut splitter in there? Very doubtful as all the brackets for the downpipe are in the way . Was thinking grinder but really doubt even with skinny cutting discs I would get that in. Being a daily it's got to be done in a day and Sundays when I dont see my son are the only chance I get ...

My CPS Failure - the Truth revealed.

At last I can reveal the truth about my pesky CPS fault  :o :( As you may recall, I parked the car up running beautifully, then a fortnight later it would not start or even spark. The engine light was solid on and though there were codes (15 and 17) relating to exhaust gas, nothing that shoul...

Re: Power steering cooling pipe

If you did decide to replace it, I know a small company who would be able to make a new one for you. He'd need to reuse the fittings, and have the old pipe as a pattern.

Re: Engine removal

Good news, I've managed to find a v6 parts car near me that has been stored in a garage for 8 years. Gonna pull the engine from it and fit to the 2.0 Any tips for removing? Will be replacing belts, water pump, gaskets etc when engine is out. I'm guessing I need engine, gearbox, wiring loom, ecu. An...

Re: Airbag code 32

Clock spring indeed still has continuity. Guess I found the safing sensor too (image below), but couldn't get the connectors off, so I just cleaned the dust off on top . Any idea what size resistor is needed to simulate the airbag? If that wouldn't shut the light, then it has to be something ...
