The locking dowel is part of the shaft,suspect it can be drilled out and
get a hardened steel dowel put in and make flush with the main locking bolt
or try here or ebay for a cam ;)
Dowels are on ebay ;)

should be fine as non interferernce

Correct, should say in the handbook if you have one and a wealth off knowledge in the Probe Oracle

i would say continuity on the unit its self as you tested the connector plugs and
not the unit

could well be a module fault did you continuity test the module when off :?:
