Not sure on cost, but I believe it tends to be cheaper than a respray.

I would want to see examples of a company’s work in the metal before committing to it.

Never tried these, they seem very thin so I would be wary of them breaking. Not sure if they are more intended for cutting sheet metal based on the description. As I have a bad back I sometimes can’t get as much force as I used to so this was the nest £20 spent in recent years on tools:

The only issue can sometimes be finding enough room to swing it, especially under the car.
