I have used BGA this and last car and I research for fun on parts manufacturers.Touch wood worked well for me and noticed incognito was fiting BGA on his at propefest too.
Never done myself so check but believe you need sealant too.

Wait for a tech to answer re dizzy.
I think the box you are talkingvabout is the immobiliser which caused problems so most people bypassed them.Do you have a key fob with a button separate to the key and does it still work.Or do you have a different type of immobiliser or none at all.

Rad cap test

Its not urgent as I am trying to replace info on the old forum.
How to you test a rad cap and does it apply to the front pressure cap only.
I am not convinced my back old flap cap had anything wrong with it so I can experiment and put it back on and see how it goes but would help to know.

Wicked both of you.knew rougly but couldnt remember exactly. A garage I used told me he had used some guide mechanics use that lists the engine as an interference engine wrongly.And he was straight up. Cambelt change

How often do you change the cambelt I cannot remember.
Turns out one of the belts was rubbing on the cover.no doubt it now has grooves in it like most.
I dont pick it up until tommorow so will get more info then

the flat cap goes on the filler port (drivers side,) near Dip Stick, water pump the Pressure cap goes on the passenger side next to the rad Wicked.Thanks for quick reply Malc. So I was right and they got it wrong.So now they are on the right way again. So second question is could the wrong one have...

I need to go to carlisle tommorow.garage had done thermostat change and I thought they had put the rad caps on wrong way round so swapped them over and car losing water. Booked into garage at 2pm but think I may be wrong where does flat cap go and where does pressure cap Go? Cant attach photos too l...
