Lots of garages won’t touch our cars any more, there too Old School.

Details of how to change the timing belt can be found in the Oracle, ( but you need to be a ‘Full Member’ to access it.

So, near all back together, not rushing it. Clutch back on Gearbox ‘remated will the engine’, Engine Mounts & cross members back on. Battery tray, wiring, Clutch slave cylinder, CAI all back N/s CV, Strut, splash shield back on. This just leaves the O/s ‘ under the the wing items’. Found it was a lo...

Didn’t the MX-3 have a 1.8lt version of the KLDE engine

There was a lot of ‘black fluffy’ stuff, trapped in the fingers of the clutch cover, & in the bell housing.

Did you ever feel it not providing any engine braking on the over-run , or poor acceleration ?
Both, Jan & myself, drove car regularly, & there was no ‘pre-warning’ at all.

There’s no friction material on the flywheel side at all :o :!:

So, with a few days off, going to see if I can get to the bottom of the problem. Made a start on removing the gearbox, doing what I can under bonnet, starter motor etc Gearbox off tomorrow, find out what’s wrong Pop over to CPT , Saturday to collect the spare clutch Sunday, to put it all back togeth...

Is there a new bit of draught excluder, that goes around the air intake to seal it against the underside side of the bonnet :?:

If you have a KLZE engine (very unlikely) you need Square holes in the gaskets :o
