Hi Bob These are after market units which adjust the throw between gears and make it tighter suspect its just the play at the linkage at the u/j slightly more stiffer more precise but not to every ones taste So yours may need a good oil change and the linkage looking at as linkage hidden under the h...

As Malc said i modded my battery tray and can use £35/40 batteries but think if you want OEM
or modded as not to ever ones taste

Since my computer crashed i dont have the diagram to replace the front springs/ insulator/
i remember that they need to be fitted correct to the camber angle :oops: the memory

Good info Bob have passed on to the owner but i did say check the CPS as he had the cambelt etc done then stopped
working a month later and said check the wire has been zip tied to the dipstick and not nicked by the pulley ;)
