As said pull the plug off the bottom of the bonnet catch and will stop the audible alarm

I would remove the clips and put back on the skirt due to the reveres clip at the rear
And put some Gaffa tape over the holes first if you have lost the small flexi rubbers and
poke a small in the tape for a good fit before refitting

Could well be the rear shocks are gone and only the springs are compensating the bounce

If you look on the rear off the resistor plug there stamped on there
so easy to convert,just make sure if you rewire the resistor is put back
into the housing as it needs the fan on to cool the resistor

hope all goes well once you get the skirt off your notice the clips had rubbers around them use
some silicon to locate the clips in that are loose etc to stop any water ingress

When i did mine many years ago i took the front wing skirt off your see the screws etc once removed i took the rear side seat panel off as there you can see the top clips on the side skirt push the last one out (nearest to the arch) it is a reverse fit clip Undo the 6 screws/nuts under the sill cove...
