He fixed the original module with the new transistor. tested it and all was working apart from the 'blinking' light.
It should have cleared the codes, but he might have to disconnect the battery for 30 seconds and put his foot on the brake pedal

I was going to bridge the terminals with wire.
When you say terminals, do you mean in the plug? If you do, how secure would they be over a period of time?

If you take that option, then I guess you don't need the unit and you may have to secure the cable to stop any movement?

Ford Probe 1994 2.0 16 v When you bypass the immobiliser by connecting the three pairs of terminals together do you just tape up the plug and leave it loose. If you are only connecting these three terminals what do the others do. Thanks If you have only cut the 6 relevant wires, you then put the pl...

Re: Car starts, then stops after a few minutes

Not too bad. Will that twice along as 16v, as you have too banks. There’s not ‘much to these engines’ once you have taken then apart. Got a sized block in the garden if you want to practice first :!: For one the Hayes Manual, is good for engine rebuilds Tip ONE:- Take the bonnet off Kit I guess it'...

It's the base of the stay that should fit securely (not come apart) as you're looking at the front of the car, left hand side . So wherby at the moment , the stay comes away in your hand .
Ok, I could ask Bob to look at pricing some up if we feel it's worth it?

Re: Bonnet prop clip

Can we clarify which actual bit we are talking about, is it the bit that holds the stay to the car at the front, or the bit that cradles it next to the suspension top?
