Is there a part no for this resistor ?, i've had a look in the part list but can't seem to find it ?, & this might be a silly question, but don't suppose these resistors can be repaired ?.

So Kev, any idea whats involved to clean the panel slider ?, & further more, whats involved to replace the resistor card ( & is one available ? ).

Number 3 setting on the heater not working ?.
Hi guys, well took the car to be rust proofed yesterday & needed the heater on to clear the windscreen. Haven't really used the heater before so this was the 1st time using in earnest. Heater worked fine in no's 1,2 & 4, but when putting into no 3 it just stopped working so i'm wondering if this is ...

Managed to refit the battery today & guess what, the interior light was on :cry: , schoolboy error i'm afraid, but at least i found out the reason, one thing i did notice when refitting the battery, was the battery holder was full of water & i wondered if it was ok to drill a drain hole, anyone done...

I have checked the dial in the dash whilst driving & it sits about central so i believe that's in the normal charging zone.

Thanks for the tips guys, my car is a 1997 model 24v. I charged the battery overnight & took it to local garage who has a fancy electronic battery tester, & he said the battery was good & had about 90% charge in it. Unfortunately i didn't finish work until it was dark today so haven't had chance to ...

Flat battery, any ideas ?
Went to start car up today & battery was flat, haven't used it since the 16th, but it has a new battery on it, & not had this problem before when its stood for several weeks, so batteries on charge now, but any ideas why it should go flat ?

So whats the general opinion of the probes brakes, do you think there good, acceptable or not very good ?, i know at least one member who doesn't think much to his brakes. I realise the car is 25 yrs old, but compared to my 2014 transit connect i have to say there very poor, i'd hate to have to do a...
