It is almost certainly blocked by all tiny flakes of rust falling into the drain channel. If you can, find the end of the tube under the wing covers and blow the line clear backwards. Fully open the sunroof,make sure you have your vacuum cleaner ready (two people) to suck all the bits up ! You won't...

Almost certain it is the one up near the engine mount.
It may be worth going to the Rockauto site and looking at the pictures of the VSS (speed) sensor.
Essentially a 'tube' ( the spiral worm gear) attached to a flange.
Looks easy to remove off the car but apparently doesn't want to move !

I think I would try and get some earplugs for the first 1000rpm Bob, it mlght be cheaper !
Some will say it is caused by the lash adjuster wear, others not using flushing oil after every oil change.

Yes, silicone grease , can also be found in plumber merchant shops in little screw top tubs.
Tell them it is for lubricating O-Rings and they will show you what they have in stock.
