Changed my mind, after giving the gearbox a good clean, I decided to fit it back on the engine,
Not a easy job while working by yourself, but its now refitted to the engine, 😊😊

Will do the rocker cover gaskets tomorrow

Work ongoing, removed the power steering bracket t and power steering pump, alternator and bracket, Cleaned the exterior of the engine block. Had a issue splitting the gearbox from the engine, (blind as a bat) found a bolt still in😮 now removed and gearbox removed, pressure plate and clutch, changed...

2 bolts missing from cam covers caused the power steering belt to do this and I know I put them in last time I changed the timing belt,, but can't of tighten them correctly 🤔

Check the spring on your bonnet catch, it may be broken, mine was and catch wouldn't close, have good look because if it was like mine covered in grease it's hard to see that it's snapped It's easy to remove the whole of the catch to change to spring if it has snapped, couple on 10m bolts and the al...
