Did you check the H4 connectors at rear of the headlight units, they often burn out

I think the brackets have been cut out, will take the bumper of an attempt to fix these https://i.postimg.cc/5jDNLz1w/67-F46-BAE-DB9-D-4-C14-90-A4-E8-CBBD9-FC890.jpg The brackets are fixed to the rear of the bumper with 3 screws, so you may need to take the bumper of to re-install them. Kit
