Second time lucky! Old man helped with the soldering, stuck in some staples that were bent to shape and attached them instead of wiring.

Ok guys, a pro tip I've learned (been told by the experts here) bypass immobiliser at the plug going in, not at the immobiliser pins inside. Benefits: 1) weight saving = +0.00001bhp! Always a positive 2) wire is already the correct gauge 3) less risk of smelling burning wires while driving... 4) you...

Well, it was fun for a day. She's dead again!

I could smell burning just before the car cut out so I suspect the gague of wire used to bridge pins on immobiliser wasnt thick enough.

The original distributors had little tags stuck to the body of the distributor but yours .................. What is the firing order on your distributor cap , just the numbers , anti- clockwise will do ? 4, 5, 3 6, 1, 2 Cant find that tag so I've gone with the one Adam recommended, appears to be sa...

Hey guys. For the life of me I cannot find this part number tag.

Even managed to pull up an old invoice for the last time it was replaced but doesn't give any info. Going to order the part recommended and fingers crossed!
