The easiest way is to try and turn it over with a socket on the crank shaft bolt. To make life easier remove all of the spark plugs.Probe97Fiesta01 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 8:15 pmRight how would I know if the engine hasn't seized? Or do you have to look at the pistons to know for sure

Re: oh wot fun 95 temic system new key
is the rotor on the dizzy actually turning
is there any spark
Have you confirmed that fuel is coming through by strapping out the pump
How is the battery?
Can you check all the fuses, especially the room fuse (I think)
Could the timing be out, jumped a tooth or two?

Re: Hand brake adjustment problem
And if you never want your calipers to seize again......wind some thin strips of DENSO tape between that lever arm and the caliper casting. The idea is to give the useless lip seal a chance ,by stopping dirt and salt water from getting there first. Check/renew every 5 years. DENSO, the answer to ev...

Have a look here, but just remember you have to add postage and import duty, sometimes it's better to buy more to make the postage worthwhile.

Re: Hand brake adjustment problem
When you say binding when released, is this with a wheel on or off, or even both? I would say that you probabaly need to do the bulk of the adjustment with the wheel off, then wheels back on, 2 clicks on the handbrake and make you final adjustments. it might take a few goes of - 2 clicks on h/brake,...

Re: engine wont turn over.
Jeff, I feel that we need much more information. As it’s been said does it have a fob? Have you checked the battery and the connections, as it maybe enough to do most things, except start it. There is a fuel cut off in the boot, but I think you can still trim it over even if it’s tripped out. The 10...

A bolt came loose on my timing belt and has caused the small metal dowl holding the from camshaft to shear. There's evidence that the camshaft has rotated about a 5th of the cog so potential for piston da...
