Re: Splash shields

Re: Front Suspension Knock

Ok, so next clue is 'how often' is the 'knock' happening.
Does it occur on every revolution of a wheel , or only when turning a corner , or 'random' in a straight line ?

Re: Front Suspension Knock

Identify which side the noise is coming from. Is it worse when turning left/right , go on a roundabout to find out. Now you have to look. Re: Woe, woe and thrice woe!

Watering can, a bit of Fluorine dye and a UV light source should be enough to see whether it is the windscreen or sunroof / drain leaking.
Water in the head-lining is a worry.

Re: Car has shut down.

Got to be worth checking if that fuel pump is working first , before moving on.
IF it is working , then it will , almost certainly , be the distributor since you have checked the CPS plug and cambelt.

Re: Car has shut down.

Presumably this has not happened to the car before while you have owned it ?
As others , it is classic distributor failure or cambelt broken ?
How long have you owned the car ?
