Hi kit,
I might have another play tomorrow and use the other
New strut which is at least same way round as my old one
It’s just a thicker piston but it must be a lot stronger

Just put some pics of tailgate struts received from
Rockauto’s, I’ve managed today to take pivot pin out
And turn it round so now should be at the correct angle
The, I’ll paint up my old one and and that’ll do for although
The new one will be upside down
