Re: Odd misfire, late 24v

Unclipped the small upright one that photo and flushed through with clean water. Seemed to be flowing AOK but car still had the same issue for at least 20 miles afterwards and the next day. Does seem to be intermittent and cannot think what to try next.

Odd misfire, late 24v

OK guys. Odd one for you to mull over. Already mentioned it on the FB page but have done some work since then so thought an update on here might work. Late 24v occasionally 'hiccups'. I can't recreate the problem I can only wait for it to happen. When driving, it feels as if the spark is too early. ...

Re: Clutch issue

Ok. I spoke to my local MOT/mechanic about it he reckoned thrust plate. By the sounds of the advice so far, it doesn't look like I'll need to replace the clutch, which is a bonus!

Clutch issue

Morning all. I'm after some tech guru knowledge. I drove Japha last evening to drop my friends daughter off at Prom. It was a lovely warm day and I drove quite slowly as I was early. I noticed the clutch pedal was getting lower and lower, until finally when I arrived at the venue, the pedal was on t...

Re: Window switch lights

Well, actually had cause to drive last night, after dark. Turns out the new bulb DOES work, but power comes from the ignition, NOT the lights. Who knew? (Other than Cpt Black apparently!)

Re: Window switch lights

Cheers Trev. I forgot all about the workshop manuals. I think I've got 5 of them (are there 7 in total) but thanks for the extract. I keep mine in my Father in Laws workshop while my house is being extended and he's away kayaking (had to knock the garage down!!) 4 years on still under construction.

Re: Window switch lights

No, ign off but lights on. The centre console switch gear lights up without engine running, so I figured the windows would too.

TBH it's been so long since I had a Probe where the window switch lights actually worked, I can't remember when they came on and when the didn't. :D
