Yes, under the wings at the top, impossible to see, or get to, with the wings on.
Caused by water where it should not be.

I think you will need to take the front wings off to see the true extent of the 'problem' (rust).
And yes, a flexible wire back up the drain line before putting compressed air on to really clear it out.

It sounds as though you have the usual poor earth connection as well as lamp connection problems.
You really need to do a thorough clean up and inspection of the entire wiring around both headlights.
Common fault.

That rubber seal under the cap is actually a removable 'washer'. Just pull at the outside and you will see it stretch over that centre piece. Now go find an old bicycle inner tube and make yourself a new one. ALWAYS smear the faces with Silicone grease to stop it sticking and tearing. Job done, you'...

Be careful there.
What was good enough 20 years ago has lasted 20 years.
The 'modern' stuff can contain ingredients which are not compatible with the 'old' components in the system.

You really, really, need to find out exactly where that water is coming out.
The 'good' thing ,is it does not appear to be a head gasket problem.

Now that everything is working nicely , one fine warm dry day, take the rear wheels off and wrap some strips of DENSO tape round the spindle of that lever ( between the caliper body and lever) which is attached to the brake cable. Really mould it into the gap. The ONLY problem with those rear calipe...

Before you do anything else, with the engine on tick-over squirt a LOT of WD 40 into the vents of the alternator. Preferably using the little red extension tube, not as a spray. You will not do anything worse than has happened already and may very well 'cure ' the problem. The problem almost certain...
