Re: Coolant line between engine on v6
Feels like a rubber pipe?? May have been replaced in the past? Can feel there is a tear down one of the connecting sides.

Coolant line between engine on v6
I’ve got a split in the coolant pipe that runs between the “v” part of the engine.. currently left at the side of the road as not holding temperature so I haven’t been able to take it all apart to check.
Does Anyone know the thickness of this rubber pipe and where I can get a replacement ??

Re: Cooling and smooth running
Anyone know anyone who is capable of replacing the head gasket and familiar with probes?
I have a small suspicion that the previous mechanic missed quite a few bits when he did the rocker covers as I'd had to reattach one of the vaccum lines

Re: Cooling and smooth running

That is interesting "As you stand at the front of the Car Left Hand Fan is for A/C and Right Hand come on for Water Temperature. If the A/C is off only the right hand fan ...

Re: New rad, which coolant?
Maybe I'm being a bit paranoid. Halfords blue stuff will work? Contains alcohol doesn't it?
