Do you have any to compare, so you can see where they clip on to, is it the front or sides, then you could use a flat blade screwdriver to help to release them

As they say, have you tried switching off and on again, disconnect the battery, foot on the brake for 30 seconds and try again?

Hi John, I would also say that your dizzy is a S3. Where have you tried to source the parts? I believe ( I’m no expert on 16v’s) that there are only 2 types of dizzy cap, one for each type of dizzy S1 or S3, so if the one you are looking at matches yours then I would say it will fit. Check the water level once it has cooled down, and top it up to the brim, you may need to remove the other cap too, but replace the one near the header tank first.

I think what they do, is move the flat so that they probabaly point towards the middle, but not sure what difference it makes, unless you can see a difference when you look at them side on and they sit differently?
