Re: Starting

If it has been sitting for a while, the old petrol in the tank could be causing issues. Apparently, the ethanol in e10 petrol can absorb a lot of water over time and the petrol itself will be less combustible. Could also try replacing the spark plugs and leads if you haven't done so already? You cou...

WANTED - MK2 Probe 2.0L S3 Distributor

Hi all,

Does anyone have an S3 distributor for a 96 2.0L Probe, or know where I could get a new one?

I think the Mitsubishi number is T2T57971

Also where can new members join the members only section on here? I can't find where to join anywhere.

Thanks
John

Re: Sourcing 1996 v16 Distributor Parts

Hi Tott61, Apologies, I did not see your reply until now. I managed to get the cap and rotor together in a set from RockAuto, I wasn't sure if the rotor would fit but it did so I'm good for the rotor. I actually got the set from the Mazda 626 section. Very handy to know that the same engine is used ...

Re: Sourcing 1996 v16 Distributor Parts

This is really helpful thank you!

Rock Auto seems to be a great source. I have found a rotor on there and will take mine out to check against the picture.

Thank you, much appreciated!

I will give an update when I can check!
