Re: Rear calliper/handbrake rebuild
Ok so I think I’ve got it… Taken the nut/screw-in piece out as it had to be tapped into the piston, then screwed it into the resus. Issue was that it had to be tapped or pressed into the piston and was a tight fit. Seems to be working just need to follow prior posts to tighten the slack. Thanks agai...

Re: Rear calliper/handbrake rebuild
Hi, A difficult one to convey so I apologise for that Basically I want to know how far to seat/screw down this “nut” that I’ve labelled. I’ve drawn option 1 or option 2 (opt 2 being fully seat) Any confusion do let me know haha https://i.postimg.cc/KkjrHNSZ/IMG-0024.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/jLP6m29J...

Ok so back with hopefully some last questions after fluid pushing the piston out to change the seal. When reinstalling the brake piston, how far down do I thread the internal nut onto the threaded shaft/adjuster (see photo). Does the end of the thread need to touch the piston or do I need the nut fl...

Re: Rear calliper/handbrake rebuild
The piston is wound in and out, by means of the adjuster, which is accessed via the small bolt on the back (12mm head), use an Allen Key to make the adjustments. If you put in the Allen Key and it does nothing, then check that it's actually in there. As for final adjustment, different people have d...

Rear calliper/handbrake rebuild
Just a quick one on rebuilding the rear callipers After removing the piston I find the threaded insert staring at me. I’ve read the old posts explaining what this does in regards to play but I just want some help understanding how to reinstall and put back together. Does the piston wind back in or p...

Clips and bits for back lights

Rather than guess, could someone point out what screws/plugs/fixtures i need for the photos below. Tia https://i.postimg.cc/rzmB9r6C/IMG-0258.jpg https:/...

Fuel pressure issue
Probe 2.0 / 16v 1995 Blue Hi all, I’ve got a fuel pressure issue where I’m not getting enough of it. Car only starts when the fuel pump is constantly powered via the diagnostic plug so I’m guessing it’s enough build up to start the car but can’t keep it up. Pump was changed few months ago from a car...
