Re: HT leads and rad hose
Hi
Don’t mind the hose being a used one.
How much for both?

rough idle
My Probe has a tough idle after head gasket job done. Had a new aluminium radiator fitted recently as well. Full service done.
Had a problem with the idle control valve years ago. Any suggestions? 1996 2.5v.

Radiator needed urgently
I need a radiator for my Probe 24v 2.5 1996. Tried everywhere but can’t source one. Had the head gaskets done and fitted a second hand rad which wasn’t any good as it’s leaking.
If anyone has a good working second hand one it would be appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Re: Head Gaskets
I’ve had a look on there. There are several bolts listed can you point m in the right direction to which ones fit? Do these parts come from the USA? I’ve also looked on Autodoc for the head gasket set plus the bolts. They seem to be available if pricey. Again not sure which bolts are the right size....

Re: Head Gaskets
Don’t know. Will find out.
At the moment the garage is sourcing a head gasket set and of course the bolts. These will have to probably come separate from the gasket set. Don’t know. Hopefully they are available.

Re: Head Gaskets
Hi As far as I can gather it’s this. If exhaust gases are present, the test fluid will “sniff” the gases as they are pulled through the fluid. If the blue fluid turns yellow or green, exhaust gases are leaking into the coolant system, and a head gasket repair is required. If fluid remains blue, exha...
