If i dip my clutch the headlights go down and when I try to start i get a clicking starter. Weird :D

Faulty starter, bad earth lead to the starter sounds more likely, when you try to start the car because the main think black cable istmaking a good contact it tries to find another earth path, which could explain the lights issue.
Do your lights work when you are not trying to start the car? That’s dipped and high beams?

Bang on the money. It was indeed the earth lead. It must have melted due to all the cranking when the fuel pump wasnt working. Anyway I replaced it and she lives again. On another note, do you know of anybody in the northwest who is good a welding Probes lol. My sills have gone, but I'm not sure whether it is even worth proceeding.
