It went with a BANG!

While trying to start 16v that had stood for a bit.
It back fired through the air box :o.
So much so, it blew the top off, & damage the MAF :!:
Plus set fire to the air filter :x
It didn't help because I had sprayed some brake cleaner in the intake.

So, why :?:

My thoughts are that I've got an Inlet valve stuck open :idea:

Thats a strange one perhaps to much cleaner down the air box and hadnt evaporated
off the Maf before starting its highly flammable
Did you clean the Maf off the car and refit before starting or just spray into the air box and start :?:
