Evening all, cars in the workshop having a pretty big mechanical overhaul at present and mechanic tells me he's spotted an oil leak on the gear box but is yet to look into it.....

I've seen a few bits on the buying guide about this, can anyone point me in the right direction to any common things to look for (1995 M plate 24v).

thanks kit.... I've not seen it yet nor as the mechanic gone into it yet though I'm sure he mentioned a plate on the gear box that he thought was possibly the source of it. Does that make sense?
