Unless they are physically damaged there is NOTHING that can fail on those ABS sensors .
I cleaned all the sensors and rings this weekend, reset the system and drove it and I still have this light on. What am I missing before I throw money at new sensors :(

if you read the flashs on the dash for srs it will tell you the code for the system
as may just be the thermal fuse ;)
as for the ABS it could be the ABS unit behind the rear passenger panel(seat side panel)

What code do you have now for SRS SYSTEM :?:
I’ve not retested the obd as it’s just giving me ABS codes but I’ll have another look. I’ve got the flashing SRS light on the dash

Again, same as the ABS the SRS sensors have not been touched so I’ll try swapping the SRS module if I can find one
I don’t think you need to use the OBD for the airbag codes ? The flashing it displays is your code, as others have said it might be the thermal fuse (code 51) which is relatively easy to fix

Are we talking number of flashes on the dash? If so it flashes 4 times, with the engine running

Very unlikely three or for sensors have failed all at the same time.
So the module feeding that result to the pmu is possibly faulty , or dirty plug/socket.

Right … found the codes on the Oracle - I’m getting SRS code 44. “Front crash sensor RH incorrectly mounted wiring, earth”

so it’s bumper off tomorrow and a good look. It hasn’t been touched so I don’t know what I’ll be looking for.

Just remember the SRS only stores one code at a time so disconnect the battey and reconnect and see
wot code comes up on the dash ;) I had a few codes i disconnected all the plugs etc and still got them back
I Admitted defeat and put a new module in and all gone ;)

There is , of course , the acid test.
Take her out on the road and see if the ABS works.

Airbag code 44 has finally gone!

All I did was wiggle the wiring and secure it with zip ties and it seems to have gone for good.

Just left with the ABS light, an acid test would be a fun idea if it had a mot on it .. maybe I’ll book one and find out along the way ;)

Purchased some rear sensors from Andy so I’ll keep digging around until then. Further ideas suggested :)

I’m intrigued by this abs unit behind the rear passenger panel … could you add more detail of its whereabouts? Thanks
